The 12th International Seminar on Research Methods in Practice 2025
The Faculty of Science and Technology, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, successfully hosted the 12th International Seminar on Research Methods in Practice 2025 on March 11, 2025. The event was organized by the Research Methodology and Data Analysis Program under the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, aiming to foster discussions on advanced research methodologies.
The seminar featured two distinguished keynote speakers:
Prof. Dr. Perapong Tekasakul – "Machine Learning to Enhance PM2.5 Forecasting Performance by the WRF-Chem Model" Prof. Dr. Virasakdi Chongsuvivatwong – "Planetary vs Global Health: Epidemiology vs Demographic Transition"In addition to the keynote sessions, the seminar included panel discussions, engaging exchanges of ideas, and research presentations from graduate students at both the master’s and doctoral levels.
The event was honored by the presence of numerous distinguished guests, including experts, faculty members, alumni, and students from all academic levels, as well as international participants. This diverse gathering created a dynamic platform for academic networking, knowledge sharing, and interdisciplinary collaboration, reinforcing PSU’s commitment to research excellence.
