SAT PSU Welcomes PSU-TUYF Delegation to Strengthen Collaboration and Monitor Research Project Progress

On May 24, 2025, Faculty of Science and Technology, Prince of Songkla University had the great honor of welcoming the delegation from the PSU-TUYF Charitable Trust Fund, led by Professor Dr. Virasakdi Chongsuvivatwong, Fund Manager, and Dr. Lin Huangquan, Executive Director of the Shenzhen Research Institute, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a key board member of the fund.

The visit took place at Meeting Room 1, Building 25, Faculty of Science and Technology, from 08:30 to 11:00 AM.

The guests were warmly received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rhysa McNeil, Vice Dean for Administration, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Tanyarath Utaipan, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs. The main agenda included a meaningful discussion with project leaders under the PSU-TUYF Charitable Trust Fund support.

The three featured projects and principal investigators were:

1. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sukree Hajisamae
   Project: Sustainable utilization of mud crab: Some aspects on the ecology, biology, and fisheries of four mud crab species (Scylla spp.) in Thailand
2. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aniruth Phon-On
   Projects: Mathematics for Sustainable Community Development
   and Mathematical Graduated Students Supporting Project
3. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittisak Tinpun
   Project: Algebra
