From April 9 to 10, 2019, Faculty of Science and Technology (SAT), Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Pattani Campus hosted PSU-UMT2019: Academic, Sports, and Cultural Exchange, in compliance with The 4th International Staff Sports Day 2019. A group of staff, 35, and a group of students, 40, had come and conducted activities in PSU. In the morning, both PSU and UMT students had shared ideas and discussed on several topics, such as additional graduate students' skills, Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), Marine debris: impacts and mitigations, entrepreneurship idea and applied science students, and so on. In the afternoon, they had sports and fun and traditional games together. And in the evening, they presented what they had discussed in the morning.

While students had fruitful activities, both PSU and UMT staff had a friendly sport competition. Those sports were table tennis, badminton, tennis, basketball, volleyball, football, and petounge. In the afternoon, the administrators of both faculties had collaborative discussion for further collaboration in the future.

The next day (April 9, 2019), students had sightseeing mangrove forest and tunnel which is an ecological tourism at Bang Pu, Pattani Province, and a city tour around Pattani city. Meanwhile, UMT staff went to Hatyai city for a visit.

More than 30 years of collaboration between Faculty of Science and Technology, PSU and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). This activity, PSU-UMT2019: Academic, Sports, Cultural Exchange, is the most active event among other activities in PSU.
